An article for this week was about the further development at DXO Photolab and here is the presentation of version 10.1. Shortly after the presentation of the new major release, DxO version 10, DxO released version 10.1 last week.
This now not only allows a direct export of photos to Affinity but also supports the native AF format when exporting or calling Affinity.
This also opens DxO Photolab the seamless use of, for example, layers, but also the further editing when vector graphics, texts e.g. for flyers and so on are needed. Canva Affinity without the AI function is free of charge, so only requires registration, so that you have found here an optimal addition to DxO Photoab Masks and so on, DXO Photoab can already very well itself so that, if you want, only use Canva Infinity in individual cases.

A disadvantage from my point of view is that the AF files do not appear in the file browser of DXO Photoab. Of course you can call them up in the Explorer or in the Finder, but here it would be nice if they would appear, for example, next to the original tube image in the photo library of DxO.
This week Panasonic the originally for next week, so on the 13th. October planned update of the Lumix-Lab app and, if necessary, also a few firmware updates for the cameras and apologized for these delays. The background was obviously development delays, the delays that make it necessary to postpone the date for publication.

Then there was also news with me to the extent that after my FRITZBox 7590 had increasing difficulties I sometimes could not even log in to the box.

I have therefore retired the FRIZBox 7590, which I essentially only kept alive because of telephony, and bought an Access Point AX1800 from Netgear, which has a slightly stronger signal and is supposedly designed for 120 clients, which I obviously do not need. The installation was very simple here, once you first set up the essential data for a WLAN network.
In addition, this access point can also distribute VLAN IDs, so that I can soon, for example, bring the intelligent sockets and other things into a special network and thus shield the normal WLAN devices such as iPad, MacBook and so on.
All in all, another very eventful week. I hope you like the articles and look forward to your questions and comments.
