Last week review 44-2026
This week the Golden October weather is changing to wet and colder November weather 🙁

This week’s article was about the SmallRig RF 20C LED light. It offers five colors and several gobos that can be used to project shapes onto backgrounds. The battery-powered luminaire can be charged and operated via USB-C. Thanks to several 1/4-inch threads, it can be easily attached to lamp stands.
A spotlight is available as an accessory, which can be used to reduce light and projections. Additional gobos allow sharp projections even from a greater distance. I have already used the lamp several times in YouTube videos and am satisfied with it.

I am a little irritated by battery display and especially the display when charging. In the case of the latter, a flashing LED on the button should indicate that the battery is not yet full. But this flashing feels like it takes 1-2 seconds, and you have to stand in front of it for a long time to realize that the full load has not yet been reached.
Plus, Apple unveiled new MacBook Pros with M6 processor this week. They should be available for pre-order from now on and will be delivered at the beginning of November.
The technical specifications are hardly different from those of the MacBook Pros with M5 chip. Only WLAN 7 is new. However, the question arises whether this technology is already widespread in the private sector.

Then Apple first introduced Apple MacBook Pros with touchscreen In a 14 or 16 inch version. In addition to many detailed changes, among other things, the display edges of thinners are likely to be the biggest difference the touchscreen, with which the MacBook Pro can now also be operated quite differently.
On the other hand, this technology also has its price, the even the smallest variant of the MacBook Pro with 14 inches is about 3300 € and the variant misses the 4000 € mark only relatively narrowly
Last but not least, Luminar 1.29 was published as an autumn update . I made a video about that last week. The update improves existing AI capabilities and adds new possibilities. The desktop version is now offered for 99,– € and a version for all platforms for 139,– €.

This includes printing functions for your own printer and the ordering of prints from service providers. In addition, watermarks can be inserted at any point during photo export and printing – both as text and as a graphic.
A stand has now also been reached that the essential editing functions both on the desktop, with Luminar Mobile on the smartphone/Tablet<
All in all again very eventful week. I hope you like the articles and look forward to your questions and comments.
