Weekly review 30-2026 and now it’s hot again, but at the end of the week at least smaller thunderstorms can be, which provided a little cooling.
This week’s article was about buying a combination of Logitech keyboard and mouse after almost six years. This time the choice fell on the MX Keys Mini as keyboard and the MX Master 4 as mouse. The latter was selected after I returned an MX Master 3S. The reason for this was the similar surface coating as on the MX Master 3, which is very difficult to keep clean after prolonged use.
The price of 120 euros for a mouse is very high – you have to say that very clearly. This does not change the fact that the MX Master 4 now offers, among other things, more buttons and the thumb switch can provide haptic feedback. Nevertheless, I started to set up both the keyboard and the mouse under Logitech Options+ and assign individual functions to different programs.
Then this week there was finally the final presentation or Release of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4, which was announced a long time ago. The camera now offers an improved D-Log mode and two cameras with higher resolution. A focal length of 20 mm and a focal length of 60 mm are available – in each case based on the full-frame equivalent. In between, the camera can zoom in continuously during the recording.
In preparation for the upcoming version 27 of its operating systems for iOS, iPadOS and macOS, Apple has published the version 2026.6. This update brings some improvements, but mainly serves to prepare the devices for version 27 planned for September.
On the other hand, the announcement of NVIDIA, which has introduced a new tool , which can be used to detect AI-generated images. This is becoming increasingly important in this day and age, as social media are increasingly flooded with AI-generated images and sometimes also videos. Of course, this software itself also works with artificial intelligence, which is why the recognition rate is not always 100 percent. According to the current status, the software is part of a private program and is therefore unfortunately not yet available to the public.
And finally, this week, after the part was on sale again, I bought the Passthrough-USV (uninterruptible power supply) for my NAS, namely the US 3000. It can be connected to corresponding NAS models, such as the UGreen DXP4800plus D.
I already have such a UPS, namely the Eaton 3S 550. However, this is much larger and serves to secure my larger NAS.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to use this device in this case, as the two NAS systems are located in different rooms. The connection to the NAS operating system went absolutely smoothly. The device was immediately recognized via USB.
