Lightroom Mobile 2.1 released

Today Adobe released Lightroom Lightroom Mobile 2.1 for Android

First my smartphone noticed the availability of the update and meanwhile post on their blog about the update. They refer to the July updates of Lightroom Mobile because iOS got an update to version 2.4

But the Adnroid version doesn’t offer much new, only the camera app was updated and provides a pro function. With the pro function activated the user can control focus, ISO, white balance manually. The DNG file format was introduced with Lightroom Mobile 2.0

But an update of the camera function only Adobe would have to relase the new version, because a so called pro mode is offered by the standard camera app, if Android 6 is installed. And the additional widget for the Lightroom camera app which should provide faster access to the camera functions is missing in my installation  🙁

What do you think about the update? Does it make sense to offer function which are supported by the standard camera app? Or is it to place mainly the iOS version of the app, because the iOS got a RAW preview function and this is working on a tablet too. I’m looking forward to your comments and questions.
