Lightroom CC 2015.4 6.4 released

The new just started and an hour i got informed via the Adobe Update Manager that a new Lightroom release is available.

Adobe announced a new Lightroom version CC 2015.4 or 6.4 in their blog post. Besides the usual error corrections, which are mentioned in detail, the new version supports new cameras like Fuji and Leica. An addition to the support for newer cameras a lot of new lens profiles are integrated in this new version, mainly for Samyang lenses.

The Lightroom CC 2015.4 version ads a new function, the boundary warp within the pano function which should warp the edges, but if you take a look at the animated gif it is more an unwarp function 😉

Adding more and more function to the Cloud version only too me is a indication that there will be no Lightroom version 7. Photoshop started like this, adding more functions and all of a sudden there was no regular version available and you had to go for the cloud version if your workflow depends on Photoshop. We have to wait and see if and when there will be a Lightroom 7 release, but for sure there will be a Lightroom version CC 2016.1 .

Because of the new boundary function and the support for newer cameras i’m sure a release for  Adobe Camera Raw will follow very soon 😉 just released 😉

What do you think about the new function, but stitching panorams i still prefer PTGui which is more comfortable and faster.
