Last week review 22/2015
Last week review 22/2015 and its end of may and the weather is still too cold, but next week is supposed to be better 😉
Thsi week i posted an article about the [post id=880]HiTechj ND 3.0[/post] in a version for filterholders like Lee . I own the Haida 3.0 as a screw-in filter for quite a while now, and i’m amazed about the resulting imegs are almost neutral.
The most advantage of such a filter is to remove it quickly form the holder for changing the image or other parameters and of course you can combine this filter with other neutral or even better graduated filter. I did a couple of pictures with the screw-in version in combination with a polarizing filter but with this combination handling is sort of annoying, since you point out your image, screw in the polarizing filter, determine the effect and without changing anything screw-in the ND filter. The square filter is alot more fleible and handling is effective.
Since this is the first time i used such a strong filter with my [post id=728]Lumix G6[/post] i was pretty surprised being able to judge the results on the display or the electronic viewfinder.
My smartphone, a Samsung Galaxy is pretty old now (something arround 2 1/2 yrs) and i feel like the smartphone is getting slower and slower, probably due to the fact that apps installed are gaining in size. Another problem is the battery life of the old smartphone, therefore i bought a seperate [post id=840]rechargable battery[/post] with a lot more power lasting at least a whole day.
But i was interested in the new Samsung Galaxy S6, but the price more than 700,– € for a smartphone was a littler bit too much. But now prices seem to decrease so i decided to get a S6 for 659,– € at a special offer.
I was pretty surprised buying the smartphone the dealer added a voucher worth 100,– €, made me smile 😉
I started to setup the smartphone, but since the Samsung S6 needs a NANO SIM card i ordered one from my provider. I hope i’ll get it next week and i can say good-bye to my old SIII.
An eventful week and i hope that some of the articles on this blog gained your interests and i look ahead to your comments/suggestions. And don’t forget, i installed a feed for you via feedburner .
